3 Questions for Your Financial Future. Part 1

June 18, 2019

The first few InFocus articles were testing ground. Along with the positive feedback, we also learned about our readership’s appetite.

Heads of household, homemakers, businessmen and entrepreneurs all voiced a common want: to see more factual, actionable advice. Our readers seem to want change. Along with the tools and insights to make it happen.

That’s why we’re excited to share with you this column’s new format. For the foreseeable future, we will focus on a wonderful, overarching financial philosophy.

We’ve used this philosophy for decades as a framework to help thousands of clients. At its core, it examines the world of personal finances through the lens of a home. Using various components of the home structure, it helps draw clear, digestible parallels to the various forms of money (yes, there are many!) that influence family success.

Topics will range from protection to assets, from liabilities to cash flow, from personal finances to business ambitions. Each topic will receive its own dedicated series, enabling you to get a good grasp on an entire topic every 4-8 weeks.

Following is the structure you can expect for each topic-series:

  • Topic introduction + meet the series author
  • Topic exploration over the course of a few articles
  • Series recap + how to apply newly acquired knowledge

Based on everything we’ve heard from our readership, we feel this format will give you the most tangible and valuable column. We hope that in turn, you will gain the clarity, knowledge and broadmindedness you seek in pursuit of your family’s lifelong success.

See you right here next time, as we dig into the foundation of the financial ‘home’.
